Siobhan Magill

I fully understand that the prospect of talking to a stranger about personal issues may seem quite daunting and scary. However this could well prove to be a major turning point in your life and a very positive step in the right direction.

Counselling will give you the time and space to reflect on your thoughts, your feelings, and your experiences that link with your past and now in the present. It is important to recognise that it is very much an individual process, varying from client to client.

Counselling is a two-way process where the counsellor and client each have a role to play. working together to bring about change. I like to compare it to two people travelling together in a car, where one drives the car and the other reads the map. You may want to make changes, drive fast or slow, reflect, pause or stop. I will support, challenge and encourage you to develop skills that will enable you to drive by yourself, confident that you can manage the driving on your own.

Please remember that no problem you are experiencing is too big or small and together we will be able to make sense of what is making you feel anxious, stressed, angry, confused or sad.

Please feel free to call or email me so you can ask me any questions you have and to arrange an appointment.

To book a session with me please email or phone 07724 741436.
Deirdre Coyne

My name is Deirdre Coyne and I am passionate about helping people to overcome Anxiety Disorders through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). As a qualified counsellor, registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and with many years’ experience in formal counselling, I offer traditional face-to-face and modern online treatment programmes. I specialise in the treatment of Social Anxiety Disorder and founded the Social Anxiety Northern Ireland website and online forums.

Social Anxiety is a surprisingly common disorder or phobia which causes people intense fear, panic and feelings of general anxiety in some or all of the social interactions most of us enjoy as part of our everyday lives. These can be meeting unfamiliar people, working with the public, or being required to take on more challenging activities that put us under scrutiny from others, such as public speaking.

The feelings become a disorder when they are excessive, irrational and impact negatively on a person’s quality of life. Without treatment it can develop into a longstanding condition. However, intensive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) has been shown to produce long-lasting improvements.

I am pioneering the CCBT online programme in Northern Ireland, offering the CBT systems via your computer, tablet or phone 24/7 for your ease, comfort and confidentiality, with the addition of my virtual or physical support sessions. The programme is the only product endorsed by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

If you are having a difficult time counselling can offer a safe space for you to discuss and explore your experiences and issues; and perhaps find ways to bring about change. I provide support that is confidential, trusting and non-judgemental.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I combine elements of person centred, cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic therapy into my practice.

I have worked within the community for over 14 years, within the fields of learning disabilities, autism and mental health. I initially worked within support work, moving to training and facilitation, and later progressing into counselling. This has allowed me to work in various agencies and locations including Childline, Contact NI/Lifeline, Jigsaw CCC, primary and post primary schools and homeless charities.

Some of the areas that I have experience and interest in include anxiety, depression, bereavement, stress, relationship difficulties, separation/divorce, sexuality, autism/ASD, esteem issues, trauma and pregnancy choices.

If you have any questions about counselling and how I can support you, please feel free to get in contact with me.

It was as far back as 1999 when Eoin began to study various healing modalities, including Reiki, Advanced Healing Techniques, Transpersonal Counselling and Transformational Cellular Memory. Since then he has founded this centre in Belfast, written a book (The Possibility Exists - all 5-star reviews on Amazon) and helped countless numbers of clients and students through his work as a Holistic Intelligence teacher and Soul Coach.

Here's what a November 2020 client said : "I have really felt a huge shift in myself since our last session. It was very emotional and powerful for me to connect with that beautiful 3-yr old confused and hurt little boy, it’s a connection that I feel I have been only reading about and learning about for many years - but not actually doing, or feeling. Now I feel more grounded, calm and light so thank you so much again for your guidance and kindness." Brian

Soul Coaching is a deeply transformative process which is all about helping you to create change on the inside - so that you are empowered to create the changes you want in your life on the outside. It will help you to become more emotionally aware, raise your level of consciousness, challenge and release limitation thinking, improve your self-esteem, become more assertive, speak your truth and, ultimately, free yourself to lead the life you wish to lead. It's also a guided journey to the deepest wellspring of your being, going beneath the many layers of outward personality, to identify any fears, limitation thinking, energy blocks or negativity that may be holding you back.

Soul Coaching allows you to remember that you are naturally intuitive, creative and resourceful - all you need is some guidance and help.
