Alison is a qualified psychotherapist offering one-to-one therapy sessions and group therapy sessions working with clients to enable them to make a positive change in their lives. Cognitive behavioural therapy can help break the vicious cycle of negative thinking, feeling and behaving by exploring the difficulties that you are experiencing in the 'here and now' and helping you feel better by altering how you think and behave in everyday situations. Exploring your past can be helpful in helping you to understand how your problems have developed. Alison works with clients to help them gain insight into their problems and to enable clients to leave therapy with 'tools' to help manage their problems in a more positive way and to prevent relapse.
